About the Scholarship Program

The Proton OnSite Scholarship Program is fueling the next generation of scientific innovation by recognizing and awarding high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement, excellence and promise in the field of science and technology, and who plan to pursue a higher education in this field.

Each year, Proton Onsite awards outstanding undergraduate scholarship prizes to enable outstanding students to pursue a university-level degree in the science and technology fields.

Tom Sullivan
The Proton OnSite Scholarship Program is supported and funded by Tom Sullivan, founder of Lumber Liquidators and current owner of Proton OnSite, a global leader in hydrogen energy and innovation.


After receiving applications from 49 out of the 50 U.S. states and from two US territories, the Proton OnSite Scholarship Committee awarded four scholarships for 2011.
